Rules For Grooming
- Hair and Physical Appearance of every student shall be clean and neatly groomed.
- Nails should be neatly trimmed.
- Clean socks and polished shoes as prescribed in the guidelines are to be worn every day.
- Students of classes VI and above can wear a simple, metal or black strapped watch of modest size.
- No jewellery except a wrist watch and a pair of simple small ear studs or earrings may be worn by girls. Any breach of this rule will cause the articles to be confiscated and retained by the school.
- Use of mehendi, hair color, make-up, kajal, Tattoos and nail polish is not permitted under any circumstance.
Hair-do For Girls
- Girls must pin their hair neatly. Locks of hair should not fall on the forehead.
- Girls who have short hair must wear head bands or pony tails if possible.
- Girls who have long hair should have their hair plaited neatly and secured with black bands. All hair accessories must be in black.
- No flowers or decorative ornaments should adorn the hair.
- Colouring of hair is strictly prohibited.
Hair-do For Boys
- Parents must ensure that their ward’s hair is not grown long and is cut regularly and in the style approved by the school.
- Eccentric haircuts will invite punishment and a possible suspension until such time as the hair grows to normal acceptable cuts.
